Locality Cache Creek Wilderness area, southern edge of wilderness, accesssed via eastern forks of Rocky Creek Road and then via a private road owned by Stephen Gilardi (an area known as Brushy Sky High on some maps).
Elevation 770 m
HabitatSerpentine formation consisting of a crater of reddish, rocky barrens and drainages with surprising amounts of running water. Lower slopes and drainages with Cupressus sargentii and Pinus attenuata. Upper exposed slopes mostly unvegetated except for Streptanthus and Eriogonum spp. Grass. Common on forested slopes and in chaparral.
