Locality Folsom, Folsom Blvd., opposite foot of Iron Point Rd.
HabitatIn dry annual grass under Blue oak woodland. Locally common. Plant 0.3-0.5 m tall. Collector observed a female orange sulphur butterfly (Colias eurytheme) lay several eggs on the specimen. Collector's comment: C. eurytheme is a fairly generalized feeder on herbaceous Papilionaceous legumes, including Trifolium, Lotus, and Medicago.
