Locality CDPR/ACOE, South Yuba River State Park. The stand encompasses the SE, rocky stream bank and first terrace above the S. Yuba River.

HabitatThe overstory is Quercus wislizeni and Quercus chrysolepis growing on the first terrace, overhanging the rock bank. The understory is dominated by Philadelphus, Heteromeles arbutifolia, and Rhamnus tomentella.
