Locality South of Cement Hill Road, 1 mile from Northwest junction with Highway 49, at Nevada City. In a pine-oak woodland plant association, dominated by C. integerrimus and Arctostaphylos, on a South facing slope, with partially shaded sunlight. Plants 3-8 dm high, commonly below 5 dm high, collected near the end of its blooming season. Stems, white; Flowers, blue with yellow anthers.
