Locality Kiefer Landfill.
HabitatGrowing in a dense patch on the edge and bottom of a medium size and moderately deep vernal pool with Callitriche marginata, Eleocharis macrostachya, and Eryngium. Scattered individuals and diffuse to dense patches were observed in a few other pools and at the outlet of the vernal pool complex that had been dammed to create a stock pond. Waterfowl were swimming in the stock pond.
