HabitatSmall tree, ca. 4' diameter at base, nearly prostrate, and overtopped by two young live oaks; gently, north-facing slope, on shallow decomposing franciscan chert overlying serpentine; Q. durata, Q. douglasii, Q. lobata, and Q. agrifolia in the area.
