HabitatShrubby bush 3 1/2 feet high, this specimen from lower foliage, its stems appearing separately above ground, apparantly suckers; somewhat shaded by upper foliage; Associated with Rhamnus, Eriodictyon, Rhus diversiloba, Pinus sabiniana. Loose brown soil over serpentine rocks.
