HabitatDense Riparian Woodland. Open sandy alluvial terraces, with Populus sp., Salix ssp., Vitis sp., Baccharis salicifolia, Artemisia dracunculus, and Artemisia douglasiana. Locally common liana in dense riparian woodland. Determined by M. A. Walker as Vitis girdiana, possible hybrid with Vitis vinifera (12 February 2018).
