|Locality||Along the Sacramento River. The particular location of this collection which is on the west side of the river on a point bar north of Phelan Island and Golden State Island, yet south of Hamilton City.|
|Habitat||This sandbar willow is common along the river. This location exhibits an old growth riparian Cottonwood forest stand with lots of Atemisia douglasiana within the understory and Equisetum. The point bar has a lot of younger Salix spp. And Populus fremontii, as well as many herbs including Sorghum halepense and an occassional Mimulus has been seen. Male plant.|
