|Habitat||Abies concolor forest. Open slopes with scattered Abies concolor and shrubs. Much exposed rock - mostly granitic, but some carbonate present. Slope = moderate, Aspect = north. Associates: Eriogonum nudum, Bromus tectorum, Quercus kelloggii, Claytonia spp., Erysimum capitatum, Microsteris gracilis. Herb, annual. Phenology = flowering, flower color = dark blue. Common.|
