|Habitat||Mixed oak forest. Open forest of Quercus chrysolepis and Quercus lobata on both sides of a dry drainage on granitic soil. Shrub understory dominated by Ericameria nauseosa, Ceanothus sp. Diverse mix of native forbs and non-native grasses. Slope = flat to moderate, Aspect = variable. Associates: Bromus tectorum, Bromus diandrus, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Gilia ochroleuca, Pinus sabiniana, Poa secunda. Herb, annual. Phenology = flowering, flower color = purple. Common.|
