HabitatQuercus lobata woodland. Open mixed valley oak and sycamore forest on sandy soil. Slope = slight, Aspect = west. Associates: Erodium cicutarium, Stellaria media, Claytonia sp., Quercus chrysolepis, Nemophila sp., Plagiobothrys sp. Herb, annual. Phenology = flowering, flower color = pink lobes, white throat, dark spots in tube. Infrequent.
