Locality Mix Canyon, to the west of Pleasant Valley Rd. Along road side on south side of creek. North and south sides of road.

HabitatWoodland with Quercus wislizeni, Acer macrophyllum, Umbellularia californica, Aesculus californica, Pinus sabiniana, and (along creek) Fraxinus, Populus and Juglans. Understory of poison oak, Keckiella, Adiantum jordanii, Baccharis pilularis, Lomatium californicum, Angelica, Heteromeles, Rosa and Salvia spathacea. Nonnatives are now dominating the annual cover where soil is deeper. This includes nonnative grasses, Vicia villosa, and Torilis arvensis. Vines include Aristolochia and Vitis, which dominate large patches. Common nonnative grass.
