Locality 3.5 kilometers north of Auburn. 2.4 kilometers west of Interstate 80.
HabitatMoist, gravelly soil in grassland /oak environment. Sunshine all day long; shaded only in the late afternoon. Very dry in the summer with no rain. Herbaceous monocot with fibrous corm. Basal leaves. Umbel inflorescence with flowers. Filaments attached at two levels in tube of corolla.
