HabitatLarge central canyon of the range with Hyptis emoryi, Parkinsonia florida, Encelia farinosa, Larrea tridentata, Pleurocoronis pluriseta, Trixis californica, Asclepias albicans, Ambrosia dumosa, Bebbia juncea, Peucephyllum schottii, Brickellia desertorum, Fagonia pachycantha, Nicotiana obtusifolia, Ditaxis neomexicana, Allionia incarnata, Perityle emoryi, etc. Localized population of about two dozen individuals growing in canyon bottom.
