HabitatThis Tamarix ramosissima stand is in the riverbed, with Tamarix, Salix, and Baccharis salicifolia along edges and mostly Tamarix and Schoenoplectus in the middle. Little water is left now, but much of stand is likely inundated for part of the year. Cows grazing nearby; lots of hoofpunch along the edges of the riverbed. This is an almost flat stand with fine sandy soil.
