Locality Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. About 40 air miles N of San Francisco; ~11 air miles E of Santa Rosa; ~18 air miles NW of Napa; ~1.5 air miles NE of Kenwood. In Adobe Canyon N of Sugarloaf Ridge along Goodspeed Trail ~1/8 mile from trail head on Adobe Canyon Rd.

HabitatHabitat: a broad weakly serpentinized chaparral/mixed evergreen forest transition zone. Associates: Quercus durata, Ceanothus jepsonii, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Umbellularia californica, Mimulus aurantiacus, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Toxicodendron diversiloba, Melica sp., and Achillea sp. Perennial grass; this specimen growing along trail margin. South facing slope (30 degrees).
