Habitat | Glaucous and rhizomatous. Population of about 200 flowering culms in serpentine wet meadow in seep. Soil saturated, water flowing. Aspect east-southeast. Slope 5-10%. Dominant species: Elymus trachycaulis. Associated species: Brodeia sp., Dantonia californica. Surrounding area is chaparral dominated by Arctostaphylos sp. with scattered Pinus sabiniana. |
