HabitatPerennial herb, 0.7 m tall, white flowers tinted pink with a purple spot at the base of each petal. Growing among grasses in coastal sage scrub habitat that had burned 2 years ago. Associates include Avena barbata, Brassica nigrens, Erysimum capitatum, Bloomeria crocea and Marah macrocarpus.
