HabitatCajon wash and adjacent foothill slopes. Wash is open sandy and rocky substrate; riparian spp along stream; alluvial scrub away from stream. Slopes covered by chaparral. Common shrub in alluvial wash. 1-2 m tall; flowers yellow.
