HabitatGrowing on hillside or clay in full sun; foothill woodland. Dominant plants: Aesculus, Cercis, Rhamnus. Rescue extremely sandy loam 3-50% slopes eroded; clay. Bright light and dry. Wide, spready tree, taproot, flowers white. Panicle tubular and showy.
