Locality Tahoe National Forest. Along Pacific Crest Trail, at the NW corner of the east to west ridge crossover saddle of the main pathway.
Elevation 2270 m
HabitatOpen and exposed rocky area, very few plants growing here, and there is a heavy snow load in the winter time. Perennial, 13 cm tall, herbage with dense, soft hairs. Flowers creme-colored. Anthers dark.
