HabitatJuniper woodland with pinyons on basalt plateau; Juniperus osteosperma, Pinus monophylla, Bromus tectorum, Artemisia tridentata, etc. common. Uncommon annual in clay pockets among rocks on a slope; flowers blue. Most plants dead.
