Locality on Angeles Crest Hwy., 3.5 miles above Big Tujunga Canyon Road, above large parking area on southwest side of road, below water tank.

HabitatErect herbaceous plant with decumbent base, approximately 1.5 feet tall, swollen bilabiate flowers on racemes; flowers are bicolor white and pink. Appears occasional. Gravel soil on exposed, dry ridge. Dominant associates include, Pinus coulteri, Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus sp., Arctostaphylos sp., and Adenostoma fasciculatum. Tranistion zone.
