Habitat | Erect herbaceous plant with decumbent base, approximately 1.5 feet tall, swollen bilabiate flowers on racemes; flowers are bicolor white and pink. Appears occasional. Gravel soil on exposed, dry ridge. Dominant associates include, Pinus coulteri, Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus sp., Arctostaphylos sp., and Adenostoma fasciculatum. Tranistion zone. |
