Locality Great headwaters basin of S. Fk. San Joaquin Riv. (Goddard Cany.) at ca. 10,400' to 10,800' w of 13,568' Mt. Goddard.
HabitatGradual slope on w. side of basin rising from ca. 10,640' to 10,800' at the foot of great granite jumble rising abruptly to the 11, 400' lake above in saddle in the Le Conte Divide. Rill emerges from the granite jumble and drops down the gradual slope thru meadows and occas. rocky terraces. This Castilleja in little terrace meadow along the rill.
