Locality Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. About 50 air miles N of San Francisco, 10 air miles E of Santa Rosa, 2.5 air miles NNE of Kenwood. 0.75 air mile S of Red Mountain, 0.5 air miles NNW of confluence of the Malm Fork, 1.0 air miles WSW of Brushy Peaks.

HabitatHabitat: Grassy opening in mosaic of scrub oak, manzanita, Calif. Bay, indication of a seep at 'Columbine Meadow.' Associates: Stachys albens, Hemizonia congesta. Slope: 5 deg. . Aspect: 90 deg. (East facing). Pink flowers, anthers 2mm, corolla lobes 5mm (8mm) and showy, inflorescence not dense, predicel 1-2mm (8mm).
