Locality Colorado Desert; Chocolate-Chuckwalla Mountains region Corn Springs Campground in the Chuckwalla Mountains. Canyon southwest of Campground. Near 33 deg. 37'32'N, 115 deg. 19'35'W: UTM 3721895N, 655238E to 33 deg. 36'52N, 115 deg. 19'54': UTM 3720669N, 654757E.

HabitatGeneral collecting along canyon bottom and slopes. Granitic rocky slopes and rocky sandy canyon bottoms. With some nice benches above canyon. Plant associates are; Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Fouquieria splendens, Opuntia basilaris, Encelia farinosa, Olneya tesota, Acacia greggii, Cercidium floridum, Ephedra aspera, and Hyptis emoryi. Plus many annuals.White flowered annual. Fields of this plant along top of some benches.
