Locality Mojave Desert, 200 feet east of road to old mining operation which is 0.25 mile N of Cima Road, which is 2 miles W of junction with I-15.

HabitatOccasionally occuring small woody shrub, 4' tall, with yellow flowers occuring in many-flowered racemes 1-2 feet long and alternate leaves. Growing on a relatively flat, large bajada in a Creosote Bush Scrub habitat. Dominant associates include Larrea tridentata and Ambrosia dumosa. Other associates include Ephedra sp., Krameria grai, and Atriplex spinescens.
