|Habitat||Abundant in gardens, lawns, waste places, and orchards. In one orchard it was the predominant plant, becoming some importance as cover crop. The tuft of pinnatifid leaves at the base is absent in some plants, owing to the fact that the plants were much crowded. A native of Europe.|
