Locality Tahoe National Forest. Vista Point trail, east side of New Bullards Bar Reservoir, along trail.
Elevation 633 m
HabitatForest with tan oak and other oaks. West-facing slope. Herb. 46 cm tall with basal leaves. Ligulate flowers yellow, 10 in. number, Pappus bristles +/- white. Sap milky. Number of florets in below normal for this species, and entire leaves unusual.
