Locality on U.S. Highway 99W, 1.4 miles south of Sacramento River, Red Bluff.
HabitatIn sandy soil on flat open area on west side of road, associated with sparse grasses. Population size: ca. 100 lupine plants in the late flowering, seed stage. Numerous other small populations occur in the immediate highway area.
