Locality on U.S. Highway 99W, 3.8 miles north of South Avenue exit to Corning.
HabitatOn sharp, gravelly sandy slope down to clay bottom area along water collection ditch, next to almond orchard on east side of highway, associated with few grasses. Population size: ca. 1000 lupine plants. Similarly sized populations, including one over 1/2 mile long with density over 1 sq. foot, north thereof.
