Locality Colorado Desert. Chocolate-Chuckwalle Mountains region. Corn Springs Campground in the Chuckwalla Mountains. Canyon southwest of Campground.

HabitatGeneral collecting along canyon bottom and slopes. Granitic rocky slopes and rocky sandy canyon bottoms. With some nice benches above canyon. Plant associates are: Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Fouquieria splendens, Opuntia basilaris, Encelia farinosa, Olneya tesota, Acacia greggii, Cercidium floridium, Ephedra aspera, and Hyptis emoryi. Plus many annuals. Yellow flowered annual, growing along canyon bottom. In sand.
