Locality Mojave Desert; North Mojave Desert region: Power line access road approximately 1.9 miles west of Excelsior Mine Road, southeast of Shadow Mt., along edge of Kingston Range Wilderness in Shadow Valley.
HabitatCreosote bush scrub with occasional Yucca brevifolia, understory dominated by Krascheninnikovia lanata, Ambrosia dumosa, Krameria erecta, Grayia spinosa and Pleuraphis rigida. Dominant annuals include Eriogonum trichopes and Amsinckia tessellata.
