Locality NW Palomar Mountains; Cleveland National Forest, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area; NE face of Eagle Crag, SE of the Crosley Saddle; South of the Cutca trail, S of the drainage that parallels the trail, on steep mesic slope. Just N of the wilderness boundary. E of upper Arroyo Seco.
HabitatBig cone spruce woodland of Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus chrysolepis, Calocedrus decurrens, Ceanothus oliganthus, Pteridium aquilinum var. pubescens, etc. Granitic substrate with decomposed, granitic, humus rich soil; Aspect ENE; slope 130%.
