Locality Great Basin; East of Sierra Nevada region: West Bishop: along Mumy Lane near where it crosses powerlines. Appx. 0.8 mi. S of Highway 168.
HabitatOpen desert scrubland on gravelly and sandy decomposed granite alluvium. Shrubland dominated by Ephedra nevadensis, Eriogonum fasciculatum var. poliofolium, Tetradymia axillaris, Coleogyne ramosissima, Menodora spinescens, Achnatherum speciosum, Hymenoclea salsola, Chrysothamnus spp. Rich annual flora dominated by Nama, Layia, Mentzelia, Camissonia.
