Locality Mojave Desert; Southcentral Mojave Desert region: Rocky slopes and hills along SW base of Cady Mountains. Appx. 3.8 mi. N of Interstate 40, 3.25 mi. E of Hector Rd.
HabitatNarrow rocky canyon running E-W with strange colorful mix of twisted volcanic, metamorphic, and granitic rocks. Sparse Larrea tridentata scrub with Encelia farinosa, Bebbia juncea, Ambrosia dumosa, Perityle emoryi, Camissonia brevipes, Cryptantha pterocarya, Nicotiana obtusifolia, Phacelia crenulata, Mentzelia involucrata.
