Locality Mojave Desert; Southcentral Mojave Desert region: Lava Bed Mountains at E end of Rodman Mountains. Along Powerline service road appx. 9 mi. SW of Pisgah undercrossing of Interstate 40.
HabitatDeeply dissected arroyos shedding decomposed granite into narrow winding washes. Scattered Larrea - Ambrosia vegetation with Yucca schidigera, Acacia greggii, Ephedra nevadensis, Menodora spinescens, Krameria erecta, and common desert annual flora.
