Locality Mojave Desert; Southcentral Mojave Desert region: Rocky wash appx. 4 mi. W of Flamingo Heights. Accessible by series of vague dirt roads running W from Hondo St. and Hwy 247.
HabitatLarge scenic sculpted granite outcrops constricting narrow sandy wash. Shallow surface water present. Wash dominated by Baccharis spp., Tamarix ramosissima, Epilobium canum; uplands dominated by Pinus monophylla, Yucca schidigera, Acacia greggii, Juniperus californica, Opuntia echinocarpa, Bromus rubens.
