Locality Great Basin; East of Sierra Nevada region: Bishop Creek alluvial fan appx. 7 mi. W of Bishop; 1/4 mi. N of Hwy 168. Along powerline road traveling SW from Red Hill. On and around Granite outcrop overlooking Hwy.
HabitatExposed rocky outcrop shedding decomposed granite soil. Dominated by Coleogyne ramosissima, Grayia spinosa, Tetradymia axillaris, Psorothamnus arborescens, Ephedra spp., Achnatherum speciosum, with abundant and rich annual flora.
