HabitatOpen forest of Pinus jeffreyi with scattered Abies concolor. Shrubby understory dominated by Cercocarpus ledifolius, Arctostaphylos patula, and Ceanothus velutinus. Chamaebatiaria millefolium scattered in rocky sites.
