Locality Sierra Nevada; Central Sierra Nevada region: North Fork Kings River canyon; appx. 2.5 air mi. ESE of Courtright Reservoir Dam. Small stagnant pond on slabs appx. 1/4 mi. S and uphill from main river canyon (Courtright Res. quad.).
HabitatSmall stagnant pond surrounded by glaciated granitic slab. Localized Pinus contorta woodland with Chrysolepis sempervirens, Spiraea densiflora [Spiraea splendens], Arctostaphylos patula, Penstemon newberryi. Pond margins densely surrounded by Carex utriculata.
