HabitatExposed conical peak of coarse brown basaltic cobbles and outcrops.; Windblown dwarfed open vegetation of Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Eriogonum umbellatum, Artemisia tridentata, Leptodactylon pungens, Achnatherum hymenoides, Koeleria macrantha, Ribes, and a few dwarfed Pinus albicaulis.
