associated speciesThis ridge had burned in August 1999._x000B_Lotus scoparius was dominant plant. Other associated plants included: Adenostoma fasciculatum (few resprouting), Ceanothus crassifolius (saplings 1-2 feet tall), Malosma laurina, Quercus berberidifolia, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca whipplei, Salvia mellifera, Hirschfeldia incana, Helianthus gracilentus, Helianthemum scoparium vulgare, Calystegia macrostegia intermedia, Chorizanthe staticoides, Eriastrum sapphirinum, Trichostema lanatum, Hazardia squarrosa grindelioides, Malacothrix saxatalis tenuifolia, and not many of Chaenactis artemisifolia and Phacelia grandiflora.
