Habitat | Rocky, dry northeast-facing slopes, bedrock apparently granitic - metamorphic; soil sandy, with gravel and large boulders.; Western Sonoran Desert scrub, including Eriogonum fasciculatum, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Mirabilis bigelovii, Eriodictyon crassifolium, Bernardia, Prosopis.; Flowers yellow, horizontal; infrequent soft-woody shrub 1.5 meters tall, among boulders. |
