Habitat | Rocky, dry northeast-facing slopes, bedrock apparently granitic - metamorphic; soil sandy.; Western Sonoran Desert scrub, including Eriogonum fasciculatum, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Mirabilis bigelovii, Eriodictyon crassifolium, Bernardia, Prosopis.; Flowers white, erect, funnelform, open near dusk; fruits spiny, few, immature; occasional herb 0.3-0.4 meter tall. | ||||
