HabitatDry sandy soil, level flats to gentle slope near wash.; Mojave Desert. Dominants included Yucca brevifolia, Larrea, Krascheninnikovia, Mentzelia albicaulis, Chaenactis.; Flowers white, anthers yellow, fruit terete; stems and petioles with pink tint, leaves mostly basal; occasional herb.
