Locality The Calumet Mountains; southern section of this range in the Sheephole Valley Wilderness. Approximately 6.75 air miles northeast of Clarks Pass. Cadiz Valley SW.

HabitatCollecting in granitic boulder piles with small narrow washes and canyons. Larrea/Ambrosia scrub with Zylorhiza tortifolia, Krameria erecta, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Psorothamnus arborescens, Gutierrizia sarothrae, and Coryphantha alversonii. Occasional to uncommon in rocky places above wash bottom.
