Locality Eastern edge of the Algodones Dunes. North of Interstate 8 and All-American Canal ca 0.5km. Northeast of Gray's Well Road exit ca. 1.5km. Access to area from Ogilby Road.

HabitatActive, high dunes. Atypically sparse dune vegetation in this area, likely due to prevalence of OHV usage in the area. Abundant evidence of crushed shrubs and scattered stem segments throughout. Remaining shrubs mostly Eriogonum deserticola. Annuals largely absent.
