HabitatMixed montane forest with open habitat near buckwheat scrub. Slope ca. 30 degrees; soils clay-loam; orientation north-east; in part sun. Associated plants: Abies concolor, Cupressus forbesii, Quercus kelloggii, Quercus chrysolepis.
